QUALIFICATIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES
DEALER QUALIFICATIONS FOR MEMBERSHIP
Dealers/Franchisees who meet the following criteria are eligible for DAC membership.
A dealer/franchisee that:
- Ownership
- Is currently and has been an ampm franchisee (at least 50% ownership of at least one franchise site) for a minimum of two continuous years at the time of election or
appointment
AND/OR - Is currently and has been a dealer (at least 50% ownership of at least one ARCO site) for a minimum of two continuous years at the time of election or appointment
- Is currently and has been an ampm franchisee (at least 50% ownership of at least one franchise site) for a minimum of two continuous years at the time of election or
appointment
- Has attained an average of at least 80% on CORE Inspections for all facilities owned in at least the previous four inspections
- Does not have an uncured material default(s)
- Has not received an outstanding notice of termination or nonrenewal
- Is not an adverse party in litigation against the MPC or the Master Franchisee
The qualifications provide a baseline for all franchisees serving in Advisory Council positions to make certain that each are customer focused, adhere to the tenets of their franchise agreements, in compliance with the current Store Systems Manual and actively participate in marketing programs.
DAC MEMBER'S RESPONSIBILITIES
- Members will provide their contact numbers and be available for their Dealer Constituents
- Members will be expected to complete the work assigned by the Council (projects, researches, and surveys)
- DAC meetings will be held approximately two times per year; DAC members expected to attend in person
- Planning for DAC Meetings and sharing key outcomes:
- Dealer Members will initiate follow up with their constituents to identify Agenda items to submit prior to the Council Meeting (minimum 5 weeks prior)
- Dealer Members will provide topics to MPC for meeting Agenda and request Subject Matter Experts (minimum 4 weeks prior)
- MPC will circulate the finalized agenda to all dealers 1 week prior to the meeting
- Following each DAC meeting a meeting summary will be developed by MPC and DAC members. DAC Vice Chair reviews and signs off on communication and ARCO Comms will email meeting summary to all sites. DAC member contact information for each region will be included
